Wordingly
Privacy Policy
Wordingly is a word puzzle that runs entirely on your device. We built it to need nothing from you: no account, no sign-up, and no internet connection to play.
What we collect
Nothing, ourselves. Wordingly has no servers. Your puzzle progress, streak, settings and hint balance are stored only on your device and never leave it. We cannot see them, and neither can anyone else.
What third parties collect
Two Apple-and-Google-run services are involved only when you choose to use them:
- Purchases are handled by Apple through the App Store. Apple processes the payment; we never see your payment details. Apple's own privacy policy applies.
- Rewarded ads are shown by Google AdMob only when you tap “Watch a short ad”. Every ad request is flagged child-directed and non-personalised, so Google may process a device identifier and basic ad-delivery data (that an ad was shown and the reward earned) to serve and cap ads — never to build an advertising profile. Google's policy: policies.google.com/privacy. Buying Remove Ads or The Color Spell removes ads entirely, and with them this processing.
What we never do
- No tracking across apps or websites, and no App Tracking Transparency prompt, because there is nothing to ask for.
- No analytics, no location, no contacts, no personal information of any kind.
- No data is sold or shared, because none is collected.
Children
Wordingly is rated 4+. It shows no personalised ads, collects no personal data from anyone, children included, and every ad request is made on a child-directed basis.
Retention and deletion
Everything the app stores lives in the app on your device. Deleting the app deletes all of it. There is nothing held anywhere else to request or erase; purchase records remain with Apple under your Apple Account.
Changes and contact
If a future version of Wordingly changes what is processed, this policy will be updated here before that version ships. Questions: support@indicmuse.com.
